2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data:

• Name (via registration)
• Email address (via registration)
• CV or résumé (via search)

3. Why We Collect Your Data

We use your data to:

• Manage your account and authenticate your access
• Analyze your CV and provide personalized job recommendations
• Process payments for paid services (e.g., the Job Agent package)

4. How We Collect Data

We collect data when you:

• Register for an account
• Upload your CV for job matching

We use only essential cookies, strictly necessary for platform functionality (such as maintaining your session). We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with trusted third parties when necessary to operate our service:

• Mollie – for payment processing
• Google Cloud AI Services – to help analyze CVs and extract relevant job-matching information
• OpenAI API – to interpret CV content and generate personalized job recommendations
• Loops – to send you transactional and marketing emails
• Posthog – to monitor our product performance

These providers may process data outside the EU. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with the GDPR.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal bases:

• Contract – To provide the job matching services you request
• Legitimate interest – To improve service relevance
• Consent – For the use of AI tools (Google/OpenAI) to process your CV

By submitting your CV, you consent to it being analyzed by Google and OpenAI for the sole purpose of job matching.

7. Where and How Your Data is Stored

Your personal data is securely stored using Supabase, our managed database and authentication provider. Supabase is SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR-compliant. Supabase, in turn, uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its infrastructure provider. All data is hosted in AWS’s Central Europe region (Frankfurt, Germany) and is subject to EU data protection laws.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary:

• Account data: until your account is deleted + 90 days (for backup)
• CVs: as long as your account is active
• Payment records: up to 6 years (for legal/tax reasons)

We delete or anonymize data when it's no longer needed.

9. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access and correct your data
• Delete your account and personal data
• Object to automated processing
• Data portability
• Restrict processing
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Request the deletion of any personal data used for these purposes
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

10. Data Security

We use standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access or loss.

11. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not intended for use by children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use implies acceptance of the updated policy.

13. AI and Profiling Disclosure

We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools — specifically Google Cloud AI and OpenAI — to analyze the information in your CV or input prompts in order to provide personalized job recommendations.

This involves profiling, as we assess your experience, skills, and interests to suggest opportunities that may be relevant to you. These recommendations are:

• Automatically generated without human review
• Only visible to you (they are not shared with employers or third parties)
• Intended to assist, not replace, your own decision-making

This process does not produce decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

You have the right to:

• Object to this type of automated processing
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Request the deletion of any personal data used for these purposes
